About Racing and Wagering Western Australia
Who you are betting with
TABtooch is the wagering brand of Racing and Wagering Western Australia — the statutory authority responsible for the control and development of thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing in this state, and for its licensed wagering.

Ascot Racecourse, Perth · wagering returns fund the tracks, clubs and animal welfare programs of the Western Australian racing industry
Every wager placed on tabtooch.mobi is a contract with Racing and Wagering Western Australia, ABN 21 347 055 603, from its offices at 114 Hasler Road, Osborne Park, Western Australia 6017. We offer tote and fixed-odds wagering on racing, and fixed-odds wagering on sport, to verified customers aged 18 and over who are located in Australia.
A statutory authority, not a listed company
Racing and Wagering Western Australia was established by state legislation rather than registered with ASIC, which is why it has an ABN but no ACN. Its role is to control, supervise and promote racing in Western Australia and to run the state's wagering operations. There are no shareholders expecting a dividend, and the surplus does not leave the industry.
Where the money goes
Returns from wagering fund prize money, track and club infrastructure, integrity and veterinary services, and the welfare programs that look after racing animals during and after their careers. Betting with a locally licensed operator keeps that funding inside the state rather than sending it offshore.
How we are regulated
Wagering is regulated in this state by Racing, Gaming and Liquor, Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries. We also operate within the federal framework that governs online wagering in Australia, and we are a designated service provider under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth), which means verified identity before a first bet and reporting obligations to AUSTRAC. Personal information is handled under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
How we approach safer wagering
We do not offer inducements to open an account or to keep betting. Deposit limits are a required step at sign-up, not an optional extra buried in settings. Reductions to a limit apply immediately, increases wait. Accounts are monitored for patterns that suggest harm, staff are trained in the responsible service of wagering, and self-exclusion is honoured without argument.
If wagering has stopped being entertainment for you or someone close to you, Gambling Help Online is free and confidential on 1800 858 858, any hour of the day.
